What does it mean that a product needs to be configured?

A product to be configured is a component available in different variants that differ in technical parameters. The typical case is vane pumps, which need to be configured by choosing rotation and orientation before they can be added to the cart. The configuration is used to identify exactly the variant you need for your application.

On the product page you will find the drop-down menus to select the required parameters. Until the configuration is complete, instead of the "Add to cart" button you will see the "Configure" button. Only after selecting all the parameters will the "Add to cart" button become available.
